<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Stalac-tightest definitely helped me with this level. ;) |

<Tom 7> (SPOILER) The extreme tightness makes some things that would normally be easy, tricky, though.
The second time I beat it, it was a lot easier for me, hmm. |

<Tom 7> It is easy, but a cute concept.
<jcreed> Kind of easy. |

<Tom 7> Man, Sokoban is hard! But I finally got it.
Also, I have no idea how to compose Sokoban levels that are this tight. Any tips? |

<mjn> (SPOILER) Oh, hey, wait a minute, I think I misunderstood the purpose of this level. (I thought it was intended to *fix* the cook)
<mjn> (SPOILER) Cook (I think): Left side unused. I pushed the middle block left, then up to the laser; then the bottom right block up onto the panel to turn off said laser, then the first block right to block the other laser. |

<Tom 7> Actually it was just separating them at all. I had been thinking that the puzzle had to do with the steel in the middle (which was how I cooked the first one), so I wasn't thinking about it as a laser gauntlet. Breaking all four apart wasn't too hard a leap.
<jcreed> (SPOILER) Was it the issue with separating all four steels on the top? With that one I surprised myself by being able to separate them with just two trips thru the teleporter by accidentally pushing the middle of a three-block down. At the time I had introduced another teleporter with another trap, but thankfully I could eliminate it.
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I must say, a level that convinces me it's impossible but then (as I try to prove it to myself) reveals the one thing I missed, well, that's a good kind of level. |

<jcreed> At least if you've already solved Max's "Reflections", which is definitely one of the most beautiful escape levels ever.
<jcreed> This one's kind of easy intentionally. |

<Max> (SPOILER) I must say, though, that it's pretty cool to watch that big pillar of blocks just disintegrate from the complex panel interactions. |

<jcreed> GAH! No, I missed the even obviouser cook that Max found. It's too late at night for escapism for me.
<jcreed> Oh, whoops, that other one has a very easy cook in it. Hope this helps. |

<Max> A fun thing about this one is that you can fry the escapist as many times as you want before you set out to tackle the level by pressing up or down. I definitely needed a bit of ECT on this one to clear my head every now and then... |

<jcreed> Yeah, I figured I'd cover all the bases and make bad levels at both ends of the rigidity spectrum. ;) |

<Max> (SPOILER) Cook: Haha... Unless the rest of the level was a red herring, I'm pretty sure I majorly cooked this one. I just walked forward on the lower batch o' steel until they all disappeared, switched out the blue, and walked to the exit. |

<Max> This is indeed rigid-er, but I think it inevitably sacrifices a little mystery since there are so few options. Still pretty cool, though. |

<jcreed> Thanks, Brian!
Besides the obvious fact that I was raised from birth by a pack of feral stillworkers on the banks o' th' Mon an'nat, I have been intentionally trying to figure out what fun things can be done with the steel blocks since tom introduced them.
I especially like the weird behavior you get pushing a row of steels through a row of panels such that it "interferes with itself". |
