The server is indeed full and will be unfilled momentarily.

3429 Extraction John Lewis (411) Sun 10 Jul 2005 21:56
Maybe noname's records somehow overloaded the server! ;-)

3428 Extraction Max (61) Sun 10 Jul 2005 21:52
I'm getting the same message for uploading a new level as well. I'm guessing the server's full?

3427 Extraction John Lewis (411) Sun 10 Jul 2005 20:10
I'm getting the same message (as Dorothy) when trying to upload a new record for this level...

The game automatically optimizes your solution, so even if it said 601 when you solved it, it was probably able to chop out ten of those moves because they were redundant.

2080 Extraction John Lewis (411) Thu 21 Apr 2005 23:50 SPOILER
Added speedrun: 591 moves (old: 605).
I think my record was actually 601...don't know why it's recording it as 591, though. Anyway, this level is challenging, but fun! :-) I personally found it slightly easier than "Around the Block," though.

I don't know if there's really a tried and true method for creating a tight sokoban level. I know there are programs that automatically generate puzzles, so there must be a mathematical basis for the game. The two sokoban levels I've made so far, this one and "Around the Block", were made by trial and error. If anyone knows of a good source of information about sokoban design, I would be very interested.

Man, Sokoban is hard! But I finally got it.
Also, I have no idea how to compose Sokoban levels that are this tight. Any tips?

304 Extraction bpotetz (144) Tue 15 Feb 2005 14:39 SPOILER
That's normal. For me, this one got easier much sooner than that.

303 Extraction Tom 7 (1) Tue 15 Feb 2005 14:29
Yeah, sokoban does always get easier after the first block or two comes out, huh?

300 Extraction bpotetz (144) Tue 15 Feb 2005 14:27 SPOILER
This is a good kind of Sokoban puzzle. It starts out hard, and then once you get the right idea, the whole thing unravels like a sweater.

293 Extraction Max (61) Mon 14 Feb 2005 19:18
Wow, that was pretty tough. Cool level!

  Damn, this is hard.
