my new level Sun 21 Aug 2005 20:28
<noname> No, I have absolutely nothing to do with this level. In fact, I don't know Brandon at all.

So, Brandon, how old are you? Ten?

Tom 7, please delete this level to avoid confusion. I also suggest that all Brandon levels uploaded so far be put into Annoying: Sophomoric folder, since this is where they belong IMO.
<Doom> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 108 moves (old: 112).
I really don't believe that noname made this. It's of typical "Brandon quality"...
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 116 moves (old: 120).
Brandon, did noname really make this?

When Push Comes to Love (v3) Sun 21 Aug 2005 00:22
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added solution "Hey, No Shoving!":
John's bot-pushing solution is more elegant, but non-pushing solutions are still possible.

The Only Dalek Sat 20 Aug 2005 03:23
<Doom> I've not solved this one yet, because removing the machinery removes the original solution too. I assume, that this level uses noname's solution for the original version. I got pretty close, though.

Needle or a Haystack Fri 19 Aug 2005 15:55
<Feanor> Ha Ha Ha Ha, good one Max!

Escapeapalooza! Fri 19 Aug 2005 15:34
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Cook: Maybe it is not so loose after all. ;)

I wish I could believe that this level was ironically poking fun at the levels that it includes, but I don't think that's the case...
<Doom> Man, great timing, John :)
<Doom> (SPOILER) (note: speedrun of 288 moves didn't break record; not added)
Didn't even try to use the orbs in the first room. The cook in the last room is the same as in another previously uploaded level.
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 288 moves (old: 413).
Cooked - bypassed most of the stuff in the first room. Also used to same cook from "House of Traps" in the last room.

When Push Comes to Love (v2) Fri 19 Aug 2005 10:44
<Tom 7> It's okay.. that's what triage is supposed to be about. (Once I get off my butt, the idea is to have triage be much smaller, with the levels being sorted into semipermanent categories after a few weeks.)

At least for my part, I derive a certain pleasure from cooking levels and helping to make them trickier!

A Tale of Two Broken Hearts Fri 19 Aug 2005 10:37
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) JL: Nice, I wasn't able to do it with just two bots. Your solution is much cleaner..

When Push Comes to Love Fri 19 Aug 2005 03:15
<noname> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 39 moves (old: 53).
This solution completely ignores the Dalek on the bottom right hand corner.

A Tale of Two Hearts (v2) Fri 19 Aug 2005 02:56
<John Lewis> I like this new version!

When Push Comes to Love Fri 19 Aug 2005 00:22
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Wow...Brian's solution wasn't quite what I had in mind! Maybe I should upload a new version...I was in too much of a hurry while making it.
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 53 moves (old: 95).
Neat! I can see that this level type could get pretty complicated.

A Tale of Two Broken Hearts Fri 19 Aug 2005 00:16
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 193 moves (old: 203).
A bit more optimized. :-)
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 203 moves (old: 206).
That was easy...
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 206 moves (old: 350).
Get back to work!

Bigger Waste of Time Thu 18 Aug 2005 22:59
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Added solution "Different Method":
Here's a slightly different approach that I used. Seems like this level is looser than I thought...

A Tale of Two Hearts Thu 18 Aug 2005 22:31
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) After watching the original solution, I take back my complaint. My solution is ugly because I cooked it, and the original level is quite nice. A followup level will demonstrate.
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I did like it, but the hugbot pushing (at least in my solution) got a bit senseless at the end. (Maybe this is due to my own unsophisticated ability for hugbot manipulation...) It is clever at avoiding several easy solutions.

House Of Traps Thu 18 Aug 2005 18:02
<Peter> (SPOILER) Cook: this level is stupid....didn't use half of it...

San Francisco Airport (SFO) Thu 18 Aug 2005 17:50
<noname> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 126 moves (old: 236).
May as well upload a speedrun to the old cooked version.

House Of Traps Thu 18 Aug 2005 15:31
<Ajax> (SPOILER) Added solution "Speed Run":
This is a cooked solution for those who want to see it.
