I had to solve this because I think 9.0 was far too low a rating, so I've bumped it up a little! Personally, I found it much harder the other versions which are rated higher.

noname, after looking at the Henri's original again I have no idea how you spotted this in it but it was brilliant. FYI, in all critical respects my solution was far closer to wowei's run than the original, but a 'bit' longer. Best level I've cracked, but still got about 70 to go. Catching up slowly.

Not what you might guess, it's solution is very different again to the "too many lasers" ideas. But looking at this one again for a longer time says: of course, this way and only this way!

I thought maybe it was a little bit easier. On one hand, the solution is somewhat more involved. But on the other hand, removing the excess machinery reduces the problem state substantially, and it reduces the level of misdirection (intentional misdirection or otherwise). However, it might also be that when I first played TooManyLasers, I spent a lot of time persuing an approach like the one in this level, plus several others that I now think are impossible. So other people may say this level is harder.

I can't *believe* how hard this level is! (Is it really easier than its predecessor? Haven't got that yet, either.)

I've not solved this one yet, because removing the machinery removes the original solution too. I assume, that this level uses noname's solution for the original version. I got pretty close, though.

Since Tom complained about useless machinery in "Too Many Lasers", I decided to make a mod by erasing all those machinery that is not really necessary. Good luck.
