There's got to be a way! Wed 04 Aug 2004 00:15
<Tom 7> Yeah, it was the reason for creating the 'surprise deaths' pejorative category.

You take the high road Wed 04 Aug 2004 00:07
<Tom 7> Well, I suppose that we can reconsider levels in here, but this level is sadly similar to a lot of the other (clearly) sophomoric ones...

There's got to be a way! Tue 03 Aug 2004 18:42
<Max> This is definitely the most totally obnoxious level in Escape!!

You take the high road Tue 03 Aug 2004 17:46
<Max> Hey, I don't this one belongs in the "Sophomoric" subdir. I think it's pretty good, actually...

Cat got your. . . Tue 27 Jul 2004 17:38
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I must have cooked this one, because I barely used half of the level.

Soooooo Easy Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:43
<Tom 7> Man, this one really was easy.

The Red, White, & Blue Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:43
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Very devious.

A bit of everything Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:32
<Tom 7> This level was pretty charming. It came from a time when these were really all of the tiles available...

Toughie Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:31
<Tom 7> On the contrary, rclarson, I didn't think this was very toughie!

Holy level, Batman! Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:17
<Tom 7> I remember being very, very frustrated by this level, which was especially annoying because I think I made it.

Easier than it looks. Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:15
<Tom 7> Despite the title, this level was actually a bit trickier than it looked! But it didn't look very tricky...

Dan's Revenge (1) Fri 23 Jul 2004 16:13
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I can't even tell if I've cooked it, because it has at least two trivial solutions. Perhaps that's Dan's revenge after all?

The Kiln Thu 22 Jul 2004 09:04
<Tom 7> I like how the shape of the level evolves as you play.

Invisible Maze Thu 22 Jul 2004 09:03
<Tom 7> Very frustrating! But I did feel like I figured out a trick by the end, so that was welcome. Clever.

Needle or a Haystack Wed 21 Jul 2004 20:55
<Max> Sigh...

Mirages Wed 21 Jul 2004 20:52
<Max> The best part is how it chases you, almost mockingly, after you've fallen for it.

Obstacle Course Wed 21 Jul 2004 20:50
<Max> (SPOILER) Tom: Actually, I'm pretty sure that bringing over the red block (or however many red blocks you want -- the difference is trivial, I think) is the only solution to the green spheres part. At least it is the Intended Solution! If you can do this without a red block, however, than you can have a well-deserved Cook!

Mirages Wed 21 Jul 2004 18:00
<Tom 7> I love the gag in this level.

Specific Gravity Wed 21 Jul 2004 17:57
<Tom 7> This is my entry in the 'size to difficulty ratio' category. I think there's lots of exploration to be done in this field...

Obstacle Course Wed 21 Jul 2004 17:55
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) There seems to be a lot of ways of beating this one. For instance, I beat the green spheres part only bringing over one red block (even though it's clearly possible to bring over several), and I have a suspicion it's possible to do it without any red blocks at all.

Needle or a Haystack Wed 21 Jul 2004 17:38
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) They yellow arrow gives it away anyway. ;) Anyway I intend to give even better graphical cues to scrollability, so that will probably make this one moot. Cute idea, though.

Osmosis Wed 21 Jul 2004 17:36
<Tom 7> This is a pretty unique concept. Ultimately I felt like I stumbled across my solution by luck rather than ingenuity, though, which is too bad.

Needle or a Haystack Fri 16 Jul 2004 15:16
<Max> (SPOILER) This one probably would have been a little cooler if I made it wide enough so that the preview didn't reveal the entire level... Oh well.

Modern Art Fri 09 Jul 2004 16:27
<Max> Thanks ;)

Synchronize Thu 08 Jul 2004 22:38
<Max> (SPOILER) I never promised you a rose garden.
