Steel Age Wed 02 Nov 2005 16:55
<Max> The hidden information is kind of detrimental to this level. Not sure if I cooked it but it didn't seem very rigid.

Sisyphus Wed 02 Nov 2005 16:22
<Max> Historical note: my first Escape level.

Rough Wed 02 Nov 2005 15:59
<wowei> (SPOILER) Cook:

Somewhat Faire Wed 02 Nov 2005 15:41
<wowei> (SPOILER) Cook:

The Kiln Wed 02 Nov 2005 09:49
<Max> Hmm, why does wowei have the speedrun when Fish Fry got it back in May?

find an exit Tue 01 Nov 2005 11:52
<DoctorMO> (SPOILER) Cook: I walked strait to the exit.

Clear the Way Mon 31 Oct 2005 22:37
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Cook: I solved this the same way as mjn.
<mjn> (SPOILER) Added solution "Possible cook":
Cook: it's supposed to be impossible to use the reds, I reckon?

Hugbot Laser Mon 31 Oct 2005 21:13
<Max> I think it's just one of those levels that initially seems a lot harder than it actually is. ;) BTW, sleeping bots must be the most underused thing in Escape...

Steel Age Mon 31 Oct 2005 21:07
<mjn> (SPOILER) Whoops, definitely a cook--didn't even notice there was a blue switch. (I think you could require it by removing one of the initial greens, perhaps?)
<mjn> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 753 moves (old: 859).
Possibly a slight cook? I didn't use the green block behind the blue panel on the left.

Hugbot Laser Mon 31 Oct 2005 20:11
<Tom 7> Wow, I can't believe this is rated as a difficulty of 2. Maybe my hugbot skills are just not up to snuff, because I can't get it...

Steel Age Mon 31 Oct 2005 19:49
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 859 moves (old: 1134).
Hah, well I doubt this speedrun will last long.
I think I cooked it slightly; at the bottom you needn't hide the blue panel before pushing the blue steel to the middle, because as the steel goes off the panel, the laser disappears.

Blocks and Bombs: Slightly Less Explosive Edition Sun 30 Oct 2005 23:49
<Max> (SPOILER) Ah good fix Tom, I used a slightly different solution on this one.

Blocks and Bombs: Less Explosive Edition Sun 30 Oct 2005 23:44
<Max> Nice! Very clever and satisfying to solve.

Squint Sun 30 Oct 2005 22:55
<wowei> (SPOILER) Cook:

Blocks and Bombs: Less Explosive Edition Sat 29 Oct 2005 18:39
<Tom 7> This had a lot of nice sokoban puzzles where there was just *barely* enough room to maneuver. Nice, very tight.

double trouble Fri 28 Oct 2005 23:45
<Main> (SPOILER) Cook:
moveing blocks everywhere is too easy, maybe this is what you wanted?

Strip Mine Fri 28 Oct 2005 12:15
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Nice one. Quite tight!
<Max> (SPOILER) Quite generous of you, John! ;)
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Hint for mjn: It is possible to get 10 red blocks, but the solution uses less.

Blocks and Bombs: Less Explosive Edition Thu 27 Oct 2005 22:30
<Max> Wow, hard! Still stumped...

Strip Mine Thu 27 Oct 2005 22:08
<mjn> (SPOILER) Man, I can't seem to get more than 5 reds free! I hope I'm not barking up the wrong tree entirely...

Feel the Love Thu 27 Oct 2005 18:48
<Max> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 98 moves (old: 99).
Suck it, Coaster.
<Coaster> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 99 moves (old: 100).
Eat my dust, Max.
