Impossible Wed 30 Mar 2005 21:37
<Max> Actually, for levels like this, displaying the shortest solution totally gives away the trick. This is an extreme example of course, but I still think that maybe speed records should be concealed in the same way that "spoiler" comments are...

Atom Smash Wed 30 Mar 2005 21:07
<Max> Apologies for the potentially annoying gameplay caused by the "electron field"...

Level Error Wed 30 Mar 2005 18:11
<Adam> Hooray! I SOLVED this way back in 1969 in only 99999 moveds.

Modern Art Gallery Wed 30 Mar 2005 17:29
<Max> Tom, don't you realize that the point of this level is not to rush through, but rather to take your time and savor the captivating beauty of Modern Art??

Modern Art Wed 30 Mar 2005 17:27
<Max> Damn you, Joshua! ;)

Claustrophobia/Panel Abuse Wed 30 Mar 2005 17:23
<Max> Yeah, it's still possible but it feels very different from the old days. I'm not sure if it's because I'm more familiar with how panels work, or if something has changed in the way they work, but I suspect it's the latter so you may as well leave it here as a defunct historical relic of a bygone era...
<Tom 7> Is this level still possible, then?
Do you want me to reactivate it?

The City Wed 30 Mar 2005 16:51
<Tom 7> If you upload a speedrun that's worse than the existing record, then it just gets thrown away!

I guess I should make it do something else in that situation.

Pipeworks Wed 30 Mar 2005 15:07
<Tom 7> Boy, this level is hard for me.

Blue Cave 2 Wed 30 Mar 2005 14:52
<Cybertnt> Nice level! Sadly not too random :P

Two Daleks, A Girl and a Pizza Place Wed 30 Mar 2005 09:47
<Tom 7> Wow, no kidding...

Waltz Waltz Revolution Wed 30 Mar 2005 01:16
<Tom 7> I'm still working on this stuff, but it will update if you send your rating again (ctrl-r, then ok). Also, you can do it manually from solution management (ctrl-m).

Pipeworks Wed 30 Mar 2005 00:49
<Doom> Max, you have to press control+m in the level selection screen and upload your solution. You can also get other people's solutions from there. I didn't get it at first either.

Waltz Waltz Revolution Wed 30 Mar 2005 00:40
<Max> Actually, speed records aren't showing up for any levels that I've already completed, even if I complete them again....
<Max> Hey, why doesn't my 72-move speed record show up for this? I solved it a couple times after upgrading and nothing happens.
<Max> I just solved it in 72 ;)

Reflections Tue 29 Mar 2005 14:59
<Max> Wow, what a great idea!

p.s. 455 now
<Tom 7> 2172 moves. ;) I like to brute force them, I guess.

Max, you should be able to reduce your escapist's uncertainty with the new automatic solution optimizer, as soon as that comes out.
<Doom> I just improved my old solution around 80 moves and my solution is now 402 moves.
<Max> Well I have 695 moves, but looking back at my solution I see a lot of uncertainty in my escapist...
<Tom 7> This will be a good one to compete for speed records on.

Arrowal Blockade Tue 29 Mar 2005 00:21
<Tom 7> Nice level, though it was a bit easy.

Construction Mon 28 Mar 2005 13:52
<jcreed> Fun!
<Tom 7> Nice twist on the sokoban-style level. There is even a little "wave" at the end, paying homage to the inspiration! ;)
<Doom> The wave level was really cool. Here's my attempt at using the wave-theme.
