<Doom> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 291 moves (old: 292).
Smaller improvement than I expected but definitely still improvable as it wasn't that rigid and it was my first finish.
<Max> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 292 moves (old: 317).
I cooked the final puzzle a little more on this one; only activated the top three panels plus the green one that appears.
<Max> (SPOILER) Added solution "Extremely Mild Cook (final puzzle only)":
I seem to have extremely mildly cooked the final puzzle; I only used 4 of the six original panels, plus the green one that appears. |

<Max> Fixes the timing mechanism. This should be the last of the Jumps revisions! Sorry for the sloppiness but everything should be in order now. |

<Max> You're right, Brian. Fortunately, this is not a cook of the main level, but rather a problem in my design for Stephan's Variation that I'll fix right away. Thanks for bringing this to my attention -- you always seem to catch the kinks! |

<Doom> That makes sense. Thanks!
<Tom 7> You probably solved it with a buggy version of Escape that didn't reset panels when stepping onto heart framers. The bogus solution is stored, but it won't show up as a check mark because it doesn't verify.
When you solve a level, it should really replace any solution that doesn't verify--right now I think it will only replace it if the new solution is shorter. I'll fix it.
<Doom> I solved this level but the game doesn't register my solution and it still says 'the level must be first completed' when I try to check for solutions. |

<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Phew! So many versions. This is a really cool idea for a level. I don't understand the difference between this and Stephan's Variation, though - my solutions to each are essentially the same. Maybe if there were fewer spots in the timing column (judging from Stephan's speed-run)?
<Max> Okay, this should do it. Sorry about all that. |

<Max> Glad you enjoyed it mjn, especially because you'll have the joy of figuring out how to solve it another way since you totally cooked it! (very cleverly, I might add, but I still have to phase this version out, sadly.) This is beginning to look like your Memory Hole series of false start uploads ;). Sorry guys!
<mjn> (SPOILER) I like this one a lot. Took me quite a while to figure out how to get that guy across... |

<Tom 7> BTW, Dorothy: You shouldn't upload solutions unless they are especially interesting (in which case, submit them with a comment that explains) or speedruns. In this case your solution is just a slightly slower version of Max's.
But if you have speedruns, please do upload them! (And check the speedrun box..)
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Well, it's cooked, but there's not much I can do to fix it. It wasn't very hard anyway.
<mlc> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 36 moves (old: 45).
Ignoring entirely the yellow block saves moves.
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Urrrrr easy! |

An optimized version of the previous solutions, yielding a pleasing finish position. |

<Max> This variation totally rips off Stephan's clever cook of the original "jumps", as well as his timing mechanism from "Timing Column". Thanks Stephan! ;) |

<Max> Getting rid of this version, thanks to Stephan's clever cook...
<Stephan> (SPOILER) Max, you're welcome to make a mod. In looking at my solution, I think it's not optimum; I believe someone can shave at least two more moves off the speed run.
This was a difficult level to finish, even after I discovered the technique required. Nice job. |
