<Jim> (SPOILER) I'm glad you enjoyed this level. Very nice speedrun Wowie, I think you should change your name to The Optimizer! |

<Jim> (SPOILER) I feel your frustration N7! You really need to be old like me, I still use the old version of escape on an old computer, and everything works great. The new version that only allows 1 save is crazy, it takes so much longer to solve any hard level because of that limitation. I'm not sure why Tom can't fix that, or at least make the old version of Escape available again. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) ---------------------------------------
----- warning: venting below -------
----------------------------------
-----------------------------------------
Right now I'm really frustrated over this level, not because of the level being bad, but cause I'm really angry at escape abruptly overwriting my progress IMMEDIATELY after I had finally gotten to where I wanted to be - I was going to bookmark, but when I was finishing, I accidentally hit enter instead of arrow keys (laptop layout problems...) and then without realizing it overwrote it as I pressed the final key.
What's worse is there's no way to express my anger right now and so it's just making me extremely uncomfortable since it feels like trying to let it out through writing just would make me sound stupid and I can't let it out in any other way without either waking everyone up or hurting myself... and it feels like anything could set that off which makes it feel just horrible...
It now feels as if it's literally impossible to do what I managed, which is making me even more irritated.

-------- end venting --------------
------------------------------------
The level itself seems pretty clever, I have yet to solve it (in part due to the issues mentioned in the venting above).
<Jim> Mark, this was an incredibly hard level. It took us one week in edit with making many modifications to even solve it that way. I would rate it a level nine to even be even able to solve it in edit. For anyone who wants to solve, that is a good challenge. It took us an additional two weeks to solve after that. We still couldn't believe that it could be accomplished. Fantastic level Mark!
<Jim> Mark, thanks for the information, but we decided it would be easier if we went through our 800 moves over the phone.
<mark> Hello Jim I have left you a message in the feedback section hope it might help you.
<Jim> Both my brother and I have been working on this level. He wants to show me his latest bookmark so he sent me an attachment file called level4084.esx. How do I open this, my computer asks me what program I want to use to open it? |

<Jim> (SPOILER) In solving these, I only did the 1st and last ones, using the last solution to solve all the middle version. Therefore, in my humble opinion, all the middle versions should be deleted.
<N7DOT> Should we keep this one or plain lemonade or neither? I think only keeping two or three versions of the level is worth it (to avoid tiring out newer players, weakening the series) and the first/last ones should definitely be kept. I personally think that if this one goes then so should plain lemonade, but I want to know what others think. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Wow. That was way harder than it seems like it should have been. In retrospect, it's obvious, but I was really starting to feel as if it was impossible, even though I know the fact it was uploaded shows it couldn't be.
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 197 moves (old: 199).
No idea where I shaved off the two moves. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 92 moves (old: 162).
Not sure what to rate. All I know is that the rigidity is really low and it doesnt seem that hard. |

<Jim> (SPOILER) NIce job Mark, I was hoping to stump you longer than it took you to solve. I don't need 15th prime reposted, I got close to the solution when it first came out but knew it would take me a lot longer to solve, I figured I had a year until your next Bday. Yikes that you have harder versions ready to go. So don't wait for me before you load them. Sorry, but it will probably be a long time before I get around to trying to solve them.
<mark> (SPOILER) Added solution "A little different":
Very good Jim,took me about an hour to get back into the groove of this level. Then a couple more to solve.
It has been a little bit quiet for levels lately . Would you like me to post the original level of 15th prime before I added 3 or 4 mods to it?
I still have 4 different versions of it gradually getting harder,it took me ages to solve the one I posted and I knew what was required. |

welcome to the game David
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 122 moves (old: 136).
most of the improvement is just not taking such wide routes. taking the teleports on the way back is actually 4 steps faster. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 456 moves (old: 504).
grabbing the other grey block rather than the maroon is way faster
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 504 moves (old: 624).
I doubt this is fully optimized. activating panels by walking off them makes activating the distant panels faster. |

<Jim> (SPOILER) Oh boy, thanks for the warning!
<mark> (SPOILER) Glad you solved this one Jim just in time for the sequel.
Working on it right now will be finished for next week.
If all goes well it should be fun and tricky.
<Jim> (SPOILER) I can finally cross this one off my bucket list, major bot skills needed to solve this one. |
