<John Lewis> I've been trying to upload a new speed record for this (and another) level, but this message came up:
Upload failed: fail (bug) bad solution
Has anyone else been having the same problem? |

<Alois> (SPOILER) John & Tom: you are bot(h) right, but allowing any solution makes almost useless the "push right" part. I'm thinking of a mod, though :)
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) A very nice and clever machine!
I agree with JL, though--I think it would be a bit better if it allowed any solution...
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) I love this concept, but the fact that there's only one solution threw me off a bit at first. Still, a nice "set up and run the machine" level. :) |

<wowei> Wonderful embedding of a chessboard-riddle. It even comes with boardsize-setup and so it's a whole machine. like it. |

<wowei> Great embedding of the real peg-solitaire. OCTweak's approach has a bit too much trial-and-error in guessing which legal moves are implemented and which are not.
Of course OCTweak DID a great job also, cause the remotes hadnt been invented those days. |

| Weird Bot Properties |
Sun 06 Jan 2008 18:25 |
 |
<Tom 7> Nope, this is the correct behavior. There is an asymmetry with hugbots and daleks (the only asymmetry in the game, I think): When they are diagonal from the player, they prefer to move horizontally rather than vertically. So the one on the right sticks to the buttons as it keeps trying to move left, but the bottom one instead moves horizontally to align itself with you. |
