Six bots for Seven Buttons Sun 14 Nov 2010 16:49
<Dave> (SPOILER) Yes, I am testing a new version of 6B7B based on a more difficult solution to the original.
<wowei> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 577 moves (old: 753).
Nice mod, Your Highness. :D

It's a very surprising twist to "simply" leave out that bot, that ought to be the untouchable guard.

Planning to do a fix Dave?

Seven Bots for Seven Buttons Sun 14 Nov 2010 10:43
<Dave> (SPOILER) Thanks wowei. Not sure if this has been used before, as I still have 10% of triage unsolved, but I dont recall seeing it anywhere. I have a feeling we may be see it again though...

<Dave> (SPOILER) Thank you Kirima, very nice mod. Unfortunately the solution is only possible because of a mistake on my part in 7B7B, but this is a clever utilisation of that loophole.

<N7DOT 3> Solved by hand.

<mm> Great level, Dave! :-)
<wowei> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 543 moves (old: 628).
THis is a great level, Dave. i didnt notice all of its strong contents in the previous version because of cooks.

Might be that the idea of iportance of bot-ordering bringing to this context shown here is brand new, but for sure it is clever and very nice presented too.

there is a little shortcut in the end still. a minor cook only.

<Dave> I should have something new (i.e. not a mod for once) up this weekend which I hope will relieve your boredom. Looking forward to pi, feigenbaums, etc...

Bot Slide Long (192) Wed 10 Nov 2010 03:26
<Dave> (SPOILER) And you thought my hugbots were lazy!
<Delvin> Just a fyi, I'd rather not see yet another remake of this - There's a heavy trial and error component and the concept of requiring an optimal solution for no good reason is generally frowned upon. These are pretty much the reasons why all of the earlier variations have such a low style rating as well. Yet another remake won't make it any better.
<Delvin> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 60 moves (old: 147).
inb4 minorleagues
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 147 moves (old: 192).
why do we even have hugbots in this game

Bot Slide (50) Mon 08 Nov 2010 21:10
<Dave> (SPOILER) If you move the exit up two spaces it forces a different 50 move solution. Just an idea.

Bot Slide (61) Mon 08 Nov 2010 18:32
<N7DOT 2> (SPOILER) Ugh, I KNEW that would happen! I was just to lazy to test all the possible solutions...

Triplets & 1950's v3.1 Mon 08 Nov 2010 03:53
<Dave> (SPOILER) I guess some hugbots are just born to be lazy...

Bot Slide (61) Sun 07 Nov 2010 13:36

<N7DOT 3> (SPOILER) I like your comment.
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 184 moves (old: 203).
Why is that hugbot staring at me from way over there?

Triplets & 1950's v3 Sun 07 Nov 2010 05:12
<Dave> Thanks radiant. Im still learning the ropes here. Another question: How do you type an apostrophe in this text editor? Fix on way.
<radiant> Well, that was for the wrong level. Anyway, you can only delete levels marked with the key icon for obvious reasons.

<radiant> It's just like leaving a standalone comment on a level, but instead of using Ctrl+C, you just press Delete.

Triplets & 1950's v3 Sun 07 Nov 2010 04:04
<Dave> (SPOILER) Oops! That was a bit of an oversight. How do you move a level to graveyard?
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 152 moves (old: 164).
what's a hugbot

<N7DOT 2> Very Annoying! But I haven't seen anything like this before, so it is a neat idea, but like I siad, very annoying.
