I guess I did have time. I have to log off now. Bye. I hope you enjoy, because that is why I made this.

Cheating Death In A Slightly More Dire Position Thu 18 Nov 2010 19:53
<N7DOT 3> I guess this cooks the original. Please do not post the solution on the old version, or this will get ruined.

Control Boxy Thu 18 Nov 2010 19:52
<N7DOT 3> not right now, though. I don't have TOO much time.
<N7DOT 3> durn, i thought that would happen. Better trap those guys so you have to fish 'em out!

Yay! Yes, It is possible to cheat death and actually be able to go home!

I think this will be much harder than the original, which actually got a difficulty rating of 3 (kinda good for a quickie-level)

<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 18 moves (old: 69).
It seems like bots 1-9 are taking up space for a mechanism that a single bot could perform just as well.
<N7DOT 3> the D-maps could also be mixed up, resulting in a different puzzle.
<N7DOT 3> 'Control Boxy' uploaded by N7DOT 3:
I'm Happy that I can upload another new Idea.

Everyone's prolly heard of the 2x2-box levels that are nothing but teleport gauntlets - really just guess & check - but this Is different.

Here you are controlling the movement of bots in a machine, and you have to get rid of the static blocking the signal (broken) . Once this is done, your task is done. It's a simple concept, and there could be lots of puzzle combinations - heck, I could have done scrambled blocks and/or added more blocks - but this is fine (for now, unless you want to make one).

I really hope you enjoy - this was meant to be original and appealing, more than anything.

Five Bots for Seven Buttons Thu 18 Nov 2010 19:03
<mm> (SPOILER) :-) Thanks! You seem to be right, a six bot level might be redundant at this state of exploration. But I truely hope that you will create more of your wonderfully tough levels! If ever you might need my cooperation again, I'll be there. ;-)

<Dave> (SPOILER) Hi Kirima. I agree, the six bot levels were both good but this level forces you to use the solutions to both of them at the same time which renders them pretty redundant. A new six bot version would have to force a markedly different challenge. You did too good a job!

Fourth Contact (fix2) Thu 18 Nov 2010 17:51
<Dave> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 413 moves (old: 425).

Five Bots for Seven Buttons Thu 18 Nov 2010 16:43
<mm> (SPOILER) Thany you Dave! But somehow it is a pity that now we don't have a 6 bots level anymore because I think we would need or just like such a 6 bots level! Less than 5 bots seems to be an illusion without destroying the entire (really great!) concept, IMO.
<Dave> (SPOILER) That's tricky, Kirima. I have deleted 6B7Bv2 as you have totally cooked it by coming up with this version. But that's cooking the hard way :-)
