I actually find Brian's cook to be quite cool, so I decided to make a variation.

Be on the Right Side III Thu 09 Feb 2006 20:19
<KWM> (SPOILER) Added solution "down and to the right":
It is possible to bring the hugbot down on on the right side.
<mm> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 107 moves (old: 126).
Cook: Didn't need hugbot.
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Cook: These are getting better. Doesn't require the hugbot, though.
<mjn> (SPOILER) Nice one. I like how you have to bring the hugbot down on the left--I spent a few fruitless minutes trying to devise a way to get him down on the right before I realized you could do that...

Maybe the hardest part

<Doom> (SPOILER) My 666th solved level in the triage. Evil!

I don't think that's a bad cook. It feels almost as intentional as the original solution. At least I don't think that this level requires a fix.
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added solution "Over the Top":
Here is something of a cook.
Neat level idea, though

<KWM> If I make another portrait I'll make the level more complex. I was very reluctant to change the picture because I wasn't sure if it was recognizable. The player and the button were the only things I added. The empty area was already there.

<mjn> (SPOILER) Ooh, I like the original solution to this. (I'll bet there's a way to uncook it...)

<Tom 7> Hehe. I am actually glad that this one is frustrating--the solution is ultimately really simple and there is no "trick", but it is still remarkably elusive.

I definitely plan to improve the browsing of comments. I mean, for one thing, you should be able to read comments from inside the game--how stupid is it that you can only post from the game and read from the web? I almost can't believe that we've gotten this far with that weird mode of communication. Also: you can skip through the level list faster by changing the numbers in the URL; in fact if you get the id of the level (use its filename, in this case lev370.esx) you can just jump directly to its entry. But yes, I apologize for the usability problems.
<Doom> And funnily, 2 minutes after saying that I solve the level.
<Doom> Difficulty rating: 4? Give me a break. I've been trying this one for a long time and I'm still making no considerable progress.

Tom, will there ever be a way to browse comments of the old levels? The only way to do that at the moment is "little" tedious and involves clicking a certain 'next page' button maaaany times.
