<Gil Anthony> it took your last level for me to get the skill to solve the other two...my learning curve is backwards.

For your next test, you will be provided with one (1) Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube. As you proceed through the test chamber, you will learn to treasure the companion cube for all the wonderful tasks it will assist you with. Are you thinking with portals?

(revision 3: moved one portal gun to make it more accessible, changed around the ending a bit, put in a fix against a mechanism that hampered exploration, and improved the illustrations so they're more helpful--still open to further changes)

<radiant> Moved to graveyard:
Going ahead and making that level layout change as well as hopefully more intuitive illustrations (so much for level 2222)
<radiant> As far as the in-bounds areas, the two revisions are completely identical, with any solution to one serving as a valid solution to the other. However, the circuitry in the top left was made more compact to make room for a step counter; a la real Portal, there are challenges that award gold, silver, and bronze medals depending on how many steps you take (in this case 515/580/750). The medals don't really affect anything; it's just an extra little aesthetic touch for the level.

I am thinking about making an actual change to the topography; the third "portal gun station" looks rather awkward compared to the others and creates a considerable risk of getting the player stuck during exploration. That's not really what the level is supposed to be about.
<Mom1> (SPOILER) Very good level; however I'm not quite sure what change you made because I solved both levels the same. The # of moves didn't make a difference.
