<Max> Original, well-designed, and appropriately challenging. Nice one!
<Tom 7> Not hard, but not too easy. Good idea. |

<Tom 7> Yes, it's only supposed to be a single click. It's possible that your mouse is actually sending two clicks (mine does this somtimes, annoyingly), or else it could be triggering the bug (which I have not tracked down) some other way. Thanks, it's good to know this is at least related to semi-known problem. |

<bpotetz> Sweet. I can't wait to do some sorting! |

<bpotetz> I'm guessing now it must be some bug in my esp file, probably caused by me. The solution in the esp from my office (the one I gave you) works fine. The other one, even the load screen animation doesn't work. I'll take a closer look though to be sure its ok. Sorry for potential false alarm. |

<bpotetz> Nope, you're right. Keyboard works fine. When I click, though, I only have to single click. That's normal, right? Just nonstandard. |

<Tom 7> I'll take a look, since I have your player file now, but I would be really surprised if the changes affected this level. They were only in two places: the bot pushing code, and the code for traps. (Well, actually the code for stepping off a tile, but that should have only made a difference when there are traps around.) Neither of those existed when this level was created.
BTW, Escape will play broken solutions in the little show at the bottom of the load screen. Once the 'bookmarks' system is in place, you'll be able to watch them through the VCR as well. |

<Tom 7> Yes, thanks for that. By the way: do you get the crashing if you enter [Deleted Levels] using the keyboard? I only get it with your player file if I click, and actually, double-click. (which I will fix, but I want to make sure I'm fixing ALL the problems) |

<Tom 7> It'll be available by ctrl-e in the next version.
I go back and try these ones that few people have solved every once in a while, but I think there's a good reason why few have solved them! |

<Tom 7> Nope.. I tried for about 20 minutes but couldn't get anywhere. Man, I suck at sokoban.
<John Lewis> Wow...no one else has solved this?! (I'm the only one who has rated it...) |

<mjn> No particular reason; just to keep the colors balanced, pretty much. |

<bpotetz> Wow - maybe Tom's latest rule changes were more far-reaching than I thought. It was surprising a bit when my pacman solution broke, but now I find that my solution to this level is broken as well. It's possible, I suppose, that there is just some corruption in my esp file, with all the editing I've done. It's hard to tell for sure, since escape won't let me view my own solution until I've "solved" it. Maybe I'll solve it again in a seperate esp file so I don't overwrite the trouble solution.
This is still a great level, BTW. |

<bpotetz> No problem, Max. I'm up & running again, and now Tom has something weird to debug. |

<bpotetz> Thanks for the heads up on the new variation, BTW. That means I only had to solve it the red block way.
<bpotetz> Wow! I thought everyone had forgotten about Dimensional Trap 17. I've solved these, but recently I've been working offline for whatever reason. I'll upload my ratings so you can focus on DT17! I've suggested to Tom a way to sort by # of people who've solved a level, could be he'll do it. That way, you could find the levels that sort of slipped past everyone. Also, there are a few levels that only a couple people have played, but got really good ratings. Plus its fun to see how # solvers is correlated with difficulty.
Another one to work on is Too Many Lasers, which I haven't been able to figure out, and has only been played by the author. |

<mjn> ...much better.
Thanks to John Lewis's inquiry, here's an extra-hard version that requires you to use only reds for the connecting panels. |

<John Lewis> Since Max's "Group Hug" was released before the advent of heart framers, I decided to create a new version with them. And change that red heart to blue for some color variety. :-) |

<John Lewis> This level will probably be super easy for most people. For some reason, I felt like creating a level where you had to stop an army of sleeping daleks...I wanted to use a sokoban puzzle on the right side and tried to find a computer program to generate levels, but I couldn't find one. Does anyone know where I could download one? :-) Thanks!
So, instead, I used some random puzzle I found somewhere on the web (it doesn't even say who made it or anything...). |
