<bpotetz> I also completely agree. This was the first thing I thought about when I saw the new update, but I thought maybe it was just me.

Anyway, I'm excited about being able to see other people's solutions soon. But I think I will pass on competitively tweaking my solutions to minimize moves. Mostly I just like the logic of solving levels.

<Max> (SPOILER) Cool. I can tell these levels are hard to make challenging and interesting while preserving a fairly accurate letter shape! I've noticed that, though they are looking less and less like their eponymous letters, they do remain consistently and cleverly challenging for their size, and this one is no exception.

Impossible Wed 30 Mar 2005 23:10
<Max> Yeah, so I suggest that the title and player for each speed record be shown by default, and that the number of moves should only be accessible by turning on spoilers...

Game-winning Strikeout Wed 30 Mar 2005 21:54

Impossible Wed 30 Mar 2005 21:44
<mjn> I totally agree--earlier I caught myself looking at the speed record for "Ad Misericordiam" and wondering if I could learn anything from it...
<Max> Actually, for levels like this, displaying the shortest solution totally gives away the trick. This is an extreme example of course, but I still think that maybe speed records should be concealed in the same way that "spoiler" comments are...

Level Error Wed 30 Mar 2005 21:13
