<N7DOT> Welcome to escape! You may want to make your levels a bit more challenging or engaging, as these two pose no puzzle and they are fairly empty (although difficult levels that actively utilize lots of empty space are often fairly good, as long as that empty space is not more than needed.)
So with that said, I hope you will be able to contribute some fresh new ideas with your next levels :) |

<Dave> Devin, love the Square Slots idea, I just haven't yet come up with anything original to add that will do it justice. I vote for keeping the rooms independent as intended and this , this is a series that should and will evolve slowly. |

<Dave> (SPOILER) Mark, ratings were indeed much harsher then. As a consequence, Minor Leagues was kept well sated. A lot of demoted levels were much harder than many of the older surviving levels in triage, an issue I raised several times because it was discouraging for new players: d=0, s=0 was not uncommon.
Jim, it's simply because I used to play on several computers. Hopefully, I have still back-up .esp files somewhere. Merging them looks a pretty simple task, but not tonight. Not even going to bother with ctrl-0, it takes forever and only grabs the default solution. Cleared another 10 or so today, going well until I hit a wall in the Improv5 series.

<mark> (SPOILER) Scores must have been a bit mean back in 2010 only 2.5 for style and 4.25 for difficulty.
Only showing four previous solvers in 4 years tells me it not that easy.
I've played this level numerous occasions only to give up,well not today another one down. |

<Jim> (SPOILER) No, never did solve Land of 10000 Bots, that one just doesn't interest me for some reason.
As for Chaotic Assembly, all I will say at this point is my solution is definitely different. I'm contemplating making a mod to force my way, but I'm undecided whether anyone would want one.
That's kinda funny for sure that your "unsolved ones" include levels you have speedruns on, your upcoming embedded level you are working on already sounds scary.
<Dave> (SPOILER) Jim, I suspect a mod is coming.... that's a worry...
Did you ever solve 'Land of 10000 Bots'? When I had my triage unsolved count down to 2
(only a year ago but it seems forever now) that one was the thorn that wouldn't go away.
I still have a backlog to deal with. Funny thing is some of my 'unsolved' levels I have speedruns on, and one of them is mine. Probably time I wrote an ap to merge my player files...
About a week ago I finally got an embedded level idea I started on 2 years ago to actually work. Turning into a classic puzzle will take time, which is why I'm not playing mods at the moment. |
