<Tom 7> Well, you don't need to push down all the blue panels in order to get to the exit, but it still presents a small challenge... |

<bje> (SPOILER) Wow, I spent a lot of time trying to find a way to get both red blocks out safely. |

<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Kind of a mess--I just walked around randomly until I solved it.
<Miner> (SPOILER) Cook: There are other exits... just try anything. |

<Doom> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 64 moves (old: 68).
Well, it can't be cooked now but this level still doesn't bring anything new. This puzzle has been used about 3 times in more interesting ways. |

Yeah! Made a speedrun! ;-) |

<Tom 7> (SPOILER) noname: Yeah, this is how it's supposed to be. If you upload the solution manually, then the checkbox will be toggleable, but speedrun is the default.
What you saw in the last version was a stupid bug, now fixed.
<noname> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 494 moves (old: 661).
Now the "Speed Record Only" checkbox is checked, but cannot be unchecked...

<noname> Just noticed that 200511030 for Win32 is out. Let's see if the bug gets fixed or not. (I have a speedrun for another level.)
<noname> (SPOILER) Added solution "Speed Record":
After rating, the program prompts me to upload a new speed record, but the "Speed Record Only" checkbox is unchecked and disabled (i.e. appear as grey), and cannot be manually checked. Yet when I click "Upload Solution", the program complains about me uploading solution without marking it as a speedrun. I decide to upload it anyway, to see if it somehow upload as a speedrun...

<Doom> (SPOILER) Yeah, Tom made a mod that forces that solution.
Still, nice work finding it.
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) But then again, you already knew that, didn't you.
(I'm catching up after an excape-hiatus, one level at a time)
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 433 moves (old: 446).
For bonus points, you can solve this without springing the double-trap twice (not shown in this speed-run). |

<Doom> Man, my first finish was exactly the same as bje's speedrun.
<mjn> (SPOILER) Nice! I love how the laser just keeps menacing you throughout the whole thing--I had a terrible "Oh, shit!" moment when I realized that the empty space wasn't going to protect me... |

<bje> (SPOILER) Added solution "Speed Record":
I think there's plenty of room to shave time, I had to twiddle around to wait for the laser to pass a few times and the sliding puzzle is probably non-optimal too. |

The puzzle at the left is simpler than it has been in previous incarnations, since you have more blocks than you need... |

<Max> The beginning's pretty tricky for a while...
<Tom 7> Strangely, my solution was exactly the same length as yours, even though both are totally loose...
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Very cute. Actually, I have been thinking of adding a bot like this, since Lolo (from which I have stolen several good ideas) had a monster called the "Don Medusa" that was like a roving laser. But you could block that thing with blocks, unlike this one. |
