<Doom> Pretty tough level for it's size, but maybe a bit too much trial and error for my tastes. All those panels just aren't very clear.
<Kato> Wow!! That took a while to figure out! Nice Level.

<SPAM> Cool!

When I played Escape the first time, I thought it wouldn't be too hard to create Sudoku puzzles. I also had an simple strategy (though it also used a huge board), but then I recognized there was a number of maximum bots, so I can't check if the solution is right...
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Wow, 'd' key is so useless for this. ;) I did figure it out, and it wasn't really that hard.

The puzzle itself is pretty loose, though. I have tried to do a su doku embedding before (my best strategy required a HUGE board). I like this technique better, though I think there aren't enough colors to represent anything more than 2-digit su doku. And it's not clear how to check the final su doku condition, being that every sub-square has exactly one of each digit.

So, who can do a faithful su doku with 2 or 4 digits?
<Max> (SPOILER) WARNING: SPOILER HINT!!!

The puzzle was inspired by Sudoku...

<mm> (SPOILER) Clever speedrun - not cooked in my opinion.

<wowei> hey that definetely is no spam, SPAM ;-D
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I think this was a nice first level. I had trouble with the parity problem when heading towards the top left, so I started by setting up the blue link once, then pressing the button, then carrying through with the solution more-or-less the way you did it. (But the walk back-and-forth above the bot is much slicker.)

<RC> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 116 moves (old: 159).
Solved completely different. Cooked?

As We Begin, So Shall We Go v2 Thu 15 Jun 2006 04:15
<bpotetz> (SPOILER) When I played this, I did not need most of the blocks. In fact, they were mostly a nuisance. I did not regard this as a cook, though. It's just not a rigid level (like many multi-bot levels). That doesn't mean you shouldn't upload a mod, though. If you think the mod would be sufficiently new & interesting, then you definitely should.
<mm> (SPOILER) My speedrun "might" be a cook - 'cause I did solve the level in a totally different way. But I would not consider it to be a cook. Even if I did not "use" all the blocks the way I should have used them, they were still necessary - but in a totally different way. So what? Is this a cook? It obviously is, because I did not solve the level in the intended way - and still it isn't, because I did use the blocks. So what?

I've been thinking about making a mod before uploading my speedrun - but I just couldn't figure out what exactly my cook could be or would indicate?

Got it? (;

<Lukas> Help! I've made a new speedrun myself, but Escape doesn't prompt me to load it up!!!

<bpotetz> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 751 moves (old: 771).
Nice. Well-done make-your-own.
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) My mistake; it's just because the last panel in your solution doesn't do anything. Maybe upload a fix?
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Cook: One block left over? A good idea though.
