Botkoban 4 Fri 21 Dec 2007 10:18
<Tom 7> Actually, I bet someone could solve #3 by trying a lot and getting a little lucky, since the solution is pretty short. Seeing what is involved for #2 makes me think that nobody could solve it by hand...

Kacper: I probably won't make any more Botkoban levels; they were just so that I could have something to write a program for. I was specifically trying to create levels that were too hard for humans to solve by hand.
<wowei> (SPOILER) Hey, it's a cool level and a harder one too! I had dozens of unseccussful tries solving. Leading 5 bots in position is definetely harder then "only" 3 in Tom's botkoban #1.

in meantime i believe, #3 is the strongest and solvable only with computer-assistance, while #2 is very, very hard but has the most beautyful gameplay after you found out, how to bring the bots in order for each of several stages.

A really good Level, Kacper! (Even if it might possibly be built with random and a little luck, i'm only guessing) - But hey, Tom had been _cheating_ with some program _instead_ ;) :D =)

Nevertheless, Tom's were great and this one's cool!

<Tom 7> Easy, but fun!

Botkoban 3 Wed 19 Dec 2007 11:50
<Tom 7> Well Kacper, unless it's a mod I think that it's usually best for a series to have the same author, because that adds to the coherence of the series. Why not just rename it? But if this is the only name that could work and it's between uploading and deleting, then you should upload. =)
<Kacper> Tom7,
Do I have premission to send Botkoban 4?Its not as hard as your Botkoban levels.I didn't make it with any kind of program like you do since I'm not a computer programer [I'm only 11 :) ].
If I don't have permission,I'll just delete it without sending it and that will be sad- :_( - .

With hopes,

Kacper Leszczynski

<Gil Anthony> Ok... I got my mind around the other small levels but,These Rouge like levels are for pure Escape Pro's with maybe 130+ IQ's.The early wire section still makes me bit my nails and shake my leg.
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) I haven't solved Rouge-Like-Like-Me yet, but seeing the change in this one confirms what I've suspected is involved in the solution for Rainking's mod...

<John Lewis> Thanks, Gil - but I'd have to respectfully give that honor to pieguy and his evil computer-generated levels. :) Those are insanely hard!
<Gil Anthony> A+++ small levels I've been stumped on your last 2 or three levels.Your levels along with John Lewis' level are among the Hardest with Tom VII's being by far the most testing. Gil ANTHONY

Red Diamond Mon 17 Dec 2007 20:28
