Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport (NCE) Sun 10 Aug 2008 15:30
<wowei> (SPOILER) Thanks for the hint, JL. I'd like to call it the final waltz, but so far my bots aren't willing to dance, they get stuck on the fourth beat.

<John Lewis> (SPOILER) Wowei, here's a hint that I hope will help you (and anyone else who's stuck on these levels): I'm sure you already know that in order to constantly trigger the blue walls, you need a bot to permanently stay behind the button. Of course, you also need to stop the triggering for one step so you can make it through the middle section of the blue walls. Think on this: what can you set up to stop the button-pressing for ONLY one step while you're in the blue wall line? Think about where the teleports lead and what other resources you have around you...and remember, bots are our friends. :)

<wowei> (SPOILER) Nice Level, Patrick 9uzz. My thoughts towards the end were only, couldnt i have left things for the cleaning lady? ;)

liked your first two simple puzzles also and they're far from simple. sp4 still not solved here.

4 Simple Puzzles Sat 02 Aug 2008 23:48
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) This level had some interesting ideas, but I found a lot of it to be a bit tedious, especially the second room (thankfully, Mom1 found a more efficient route!). I did enjoy how the last room brought everything together, although I ended up skipping the blue and green panels and used marbles for the two upper grey panels instead.

Jumps (v6) Thu 31 Jul 2008 20:56
<wowei> (SPOILER) mom1, your highness,

imho the right way for solving is to ask questions, and i think you are doing fine. Ask yourself small and simple questions, the more questions there are, the higher is the possibility that there is _THE_RIGHT_QUESTION_.

Max's great idea was the origin for all these jumps.

what about the right chamber?
do i need to go to the second room?
do i need company?
do i have to return?
alone?

what about timing?
can i send IT (not him, <grin>) before me?
can we enter together?
shall i go first?
.
.
.

keep on keeping on!

Four Square Thu 31 Jul 2008 20:24
<John Lewis> (SPOILER) noname: Wow! I had no idea the final room could be beaten that way. That is too cool! My original intent was to use the green sphere in the second room (of course, the green panel is a red herring), but your solution is much more slick. New version coming soon.
<wowei> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 432 moves (old: 434).
Waaaa noname, just saw your record online, and it's been me who wanted to surprise JL. Didnt see any solutions yet, so i dont know if its cooked, but i guess no.

JL, another great puzzle and it's so mean, mean and bad, especially the second chamber.

Handmade 013 Thu 31 Jul 2008 19:38
<noname> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 648 moves (old: 650).
