<gary> They should master other remote-combinations levels to solve this. Is it true?
<Delvin> (SPOILER) I'm not quite sure why you added all those pieces that don't have anything to do with the puzzle that is simply finding the correct combination of switches. Twelve stop signs would've been enough.
<wowei> wonderful setup, Bob. Interesting, that the inverse solution doesnt lead to success. Is it a bug? ;)
<gary> Anyway, This is a nice pentomino puzzle, but why is it hard to put all pieces to form a rectangle by hitting the remotes?

Too Many Lasers again (2 bots) Tue 04 Nov 2008 17:48
<mm> (SPOILER) What a speedrun, wowei! Great job! :-)
(Noname's level...? - I have no clue at all!?)

Maze Tue 04 Nov 2008 16:54
<Delvin> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 262 moves (old: 298).
Good levels are going to require more planning, though. This one is rather trivial, without any real choices or things to figure out.

Assembly Line (v4) Sun 02 Nov 2008 01:26
<radiant> (SPOILER) If anyone else besides the lone rater has solved this, can you doublecheck the figure of 2990 I've arrived at for the number of distinct bot placements that succeed in the assembly?

<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 345 moves (old: 356).
Looks like there's lots of ways to beat this one.

Bob 7 Sat 01 Nov 2008 20:14
<Tom 7> Not a bad setup, but why we gotta make these kinds of levels so dang long?
<radiant> I was classify this as more of a Tower=of-Hanoi mapping...

Bob 8 Fri 31 Oct 2008 23:27
<Gil Anthony> and with that I've completed half of bob's puzzles...not bad for someone like me.

Bob 6 Fri 31 Oct 2008 23:25
<Gil Anthony> solved this one too not fast but, fun.

Bob 7 Fri 31 Oct 2008 23:08
<Gil Anthony> The Answer gary is yes at least about 4000 moves,so how bad do you want to solve this one.
So far I haven't but, when I got the time I'll knock it out.

Bob 8 Fri 31 Oct 2008 23:05
<Gil Anthony> yeah I tried Tom's 7 suggestion and solved it with 56 moves.
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) Then again, compared to the original solution I guess mine's not far off...
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) I don't think I played this right, because I only needed one button up top and then some set of the ones on the bottom.

Bob 4 Fri 31 Oct 2008 13:57
<Gil Anthony> 1210 moves

Bob 8 Fri 31 Oct 2008 11:51
<Delvin> (SPOILER) So, uh, any explanation on this? I'm not familiar with this Mindbuster thing, google doesn't turn up anything relevant and this plays like a huge red herring.

Bob 6 Fri 31 Oct 2008 11:41
<Delvin> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 356 moves (old: 384).
Or not. Seems like just about every route works. Weird levels.
<Delvin> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 384 moves (old: 544).
I guess I got lucky because the first route I tried worked, and I didn't need to start paying attention to the machinery in closer detail.

Bob 1 Fri 31 Oct 2008 09:46
<Mom1> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 268 moves (old: 664).
