<FrodoGreat> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 205 moves (old: 213).
Actually, this is an optimized solution from Doom's. |

<gary> I mean, the solution code.
<gary> Nope, solutions and comments cannot be deleted.
<FrodoGreat> I'm truly sorry for the solution.
The dialog asked me to provide one, and I thought it might get into some sort of database, and oops, there it is on the web page. I think I was a little too excited...
Can I erase it?
<gary> A really nice speed record, but don't give the answer to everyone, FrodoGreat.
<FrodoGreat> This level is truly amazing. It's easy to solve, but very hard to find to fastest solution. |

<gary> (SPOILER) I mean, I used in my Notepad program to tell me that there are 2 combinations in 1 remote, 4 combinations in 2 remotes, 8 for 3 remotes, and so on.
This result tells me that the number of combinations made is 2 to the power of the number of remotes. When there are 63 remotes, there are 2^63 combinations.
<gary> (SPOILER) It looks like there are 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 combinations, only one combination is made and the level is solved. |

<pieguy> cracking DES in less than a day was the result of the coordination of thousands of computers (including one built specifically for cracking DES), which enabled them to check 200 billion keys per second. so far the best i've been able to achieve for this cipher is 80k keys per second (per core) on my computer, meaning it would take an expected million cpu years for my computer to crack it. |

<gary> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 374 moves (old: 378).
Anyone got this so far? It's 374 so far.
<gary> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 378 moves (old: 382).
Is this solution is the shortest?
<gary> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 382 moves (old: 384).
I think that it is the lowest solution. |

<gary> I think that it may be not solved in 24 hours, but it can be solved about 100 to 200 days.
<radiant> Unsolvable? In a world where DES can be brute-forced in what, 24 hours? |

<Gil Anthony> Asterix..you got it.Thats how to solve this level. After asking,I just completed it today. As a rule we guard any hints on solving puzzles.I can tell you that you are on the right track.Keep a focus on the elements and squares you need to get to or change.Keep trying and you well see the move you need to make.

<Asterix> I just discovered this game yesterday I'm starting out with the earlier levels I've been stuck for awhile now on screen 25, specifically how to get to the button that turns off the yellow square. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
