Pretty Woman Fri 25 Dec 2009 23:47
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 236 moves (old: 819).
It'll probably end up in the minors anyway.

Red's in the Lead Fri 25 Dec 2009 22:50
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 221 moves (old: 271).
This is one of those levels that would have been so much easier to implement if not for that recent decree on what counts as "sane" panel behavior.

Pretty Woman Fri 25 Dec 2009 22:48
<Carlin> When I created this level, I was just imagining something funny. In any way, I apologize to you, Gary.
<gary> Tom, do you really find it obscene? Well, I don't like this picture. Please delete it.

Black Hole Fri 25 Dec 2009 17:10
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 245 moves (old: 303).

Game-winning Goal Fri 25 Dec 2009 10:41
<Tom 7> I wish it were easy to do, but the rating system is built around uniquely identifying a level by its MD5, which changes even if it's just fixing invisible flag bugs. I kind of regret that design (notice Black & White is rated higher than Black & White v2!), but I think it can be corrected by making a system where different versions of the "same level" can be linked, which I've been thinking of doing for a while.

What the?? Thu 24 Dec 2009 23:37
<Tom 7> I was surprised that the new checks for radiant's malformed levels also flagged some other old levels. The errors in these levels are basically harmless (you could possibly trigger some odd behavior, though) but they won't load in the new release so they gotta go to quarantine. I uploaded functionally-similar replacements. I expect by 2009 standards that 2/3 will end up in minor leagues, anyway...

Game-winning Goal Thu 24 Dec 2009 23:34
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 85 moves (old: 178).
Any chance that in cases like this we could have the old ratings for the level copied over?

revenge of the malformed levels 3 Thu 24 Dec 2009 23:34
<Tom 7> As much as I enjoy these levels, they won't load in the new release, and so they're headed to quarantine (and the regression suite).

POOL Wed 23 Dec 2009 12:05
<wowei> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 432 moves (old: 506).
JS, you did some really nice levels lately but this one as much as "abc" isn't a puzzle at all. having to guess what comes next is not solving a puzzle.

i hope you don't wanna start a ruuner-up for worst riddle now.
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 506 moves (old: 638).
I don't know what this is, but it certainly isn't pool.

Learning ABC :o) Mon 21 Dec 2009 20:24
<mm> You're certainly right, Radiant, and brilliant, as usual. But in fact: the level is everything, but NOT funny. Not at all..!
<radiant> Quarantine is certainly out; that's for levels that rely on bugs after those bugs are written out of the game.

It could head off to veryfunny, as an analog of HARDEST IQ CARRIER (EXPERTS ONLY), but it's not even that funny. Just an exercise in reading a huge mess of a D map over a 2,009-tile area.
<mm> (SPOILER) Good question, Radiant! I guess we're supposed to figure how to handle ABC levels? -> They will fit into the "Minor Leagues" file or even disappear in "Quarantine". I'd vote for "Quarantine". Definitely. This level seems to have been created to make us feel "arghhhh"! And it's certainly NOT the aim of this game to make us players feel like "arghhh". On the contrary! We players should feel like "WOW", I've got it, and we're supposed to continue to play the game! (And to CREATE new levels... I'm sorry, I'm really bad in creating interesting and new levels, I wish I could!!!)

Going Back Home Mon 21 Dec 2009 17:01
<Carlin> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 198 moves (old: 200).

Have we escaped yet?The Movie Mon 21 Dec 2009 15:01
<Sulnudu> (SPOILER) Cook: It seemed like all too easy, either there are a lot of red herrings, or I have somehow cooked it. It seems the solution is more or less trivially to go to the exit and escape

Learning ABC :o) Mon 21 Dec 2009 01:35
<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 673 moves (old: 1195).
What is the point of this level?

<radiant> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 16 moves (old: 18).
