A Simpler Dilemma Revisited Sat 29 Jul 2023 17:19
<N7> I've put the game's level feed in my RSS reader so I can be notified when new levels come out (since these days it's so infrequent) but I admittedly haven't really played already existing levels much in quite a while. Would be nice to see a revival here but I don't know if that's ever going to happen or what it would take to make it happen.

As for this level, unfortunately I have no idea how to get the bot up there for the final stretch right now. I have some idea of what the final step needs to be, but I don't know how to set up for that. You were always a much stronger solver than I was :P

Don't know if there are still people playing this game, but anyway...

Nevermind. Turns out I uploaded the hard solution to the original version back in 2007...

While looking back at Mom1's levels, somehow I found that I first solved the original of this level in a hard way. Hence a mod.

<Dave(2400)v2> If this embedding can be broken, I have utterly failed to do so.

The interface is a bit wtf? for the first minute after opening the level but quickly resolves into something intuitive.

Fantastic work, Matt, nicely done and thank you!

If you thought that last mod was pretty nice, then I've got some good news and bad news, cause this mod's feeling pretty mean :)

I've missed nothing Tue 15 Oct 2019 04:43
<N7DOT> I just realized mark already did a mod of this one, oops! I'm going to go compare this against that one to see whether I should keep this one.
<N7DOT> 'I've missed nothing' uploaded by N7DOT:
Inspired by mark's frequent use of old levels as backbones for new ones, I decided to go looking through old levels myself to see if I could find one that I could use to do the same. This is the result of that endeavor :)

Conflicted Mon 14 Oct 2019 02:48
<N7DOT> Nice puzzle here. One thing I noticed when playing is that format of the original is oddly similar to the quarantined level "Bridge Out Redux" :P

Glad I decided to check back in here to see if there'd been any new things going on, looks like its been (relatively) active around here recently :)
