Here's a little tip: http://escape.spacebar.org/f/a/escape/level/####?spoilers=1 change the #### in the url to the level of your choice and read the comments so that you understand the concept of the level before claiming a cook (also download the original solution). I can't recall ever cooking a Max level ;) |

@Karlodinium: Pressing the Y key is NOT a cook. The whole concept of the game is that there is no hidden information, that's why the Y hotkey does what it does.

Whoops, I messed up the colors in the intro. It should read: White (floor) means the tile is adjacent to zero lasers, blue means the tile is adjacent to one laser, green means the tile is adjacent to two lasers, and red means the tile is adjacent to three lasers. In any case, it uses the same colors as Minesweeper.

Pretty cool. I actually cleared the whole level the first time before finishing just because I enjoyed it.

I think this was a nice level, as long as you don't sneek a peak at the lasers. I did undo a couple of bad guesses though, because guesses are sometimes necessary in 'sweeper.

'Lasersweeper' uploaded by Max: [This version two fixed one error in the coloring]. Here's the intro again: An embedding of the classic game "Minesweeper", substituting lasers for mines. It uses the same color coding as in the original game: floor means the tile is adjacent to one laser, green means the tile is adjacent to two lasers, and red means the tile is adjacent to three lasers. Unfortunately, there's no way to "flag" lasers, but it's pretty easy to remember in this setting. This is easily solvable through logical reasoning so there's no need for any guessing. If you don't like minesweeper, or you like minesweeper and don't like this level, just press "y" ;). This is very loose and thus has many possible solutions (just like Minesweeper!). [note: this is probably most suitable for the "Very Funny" subdir.] |
