<mark> most appreciate your comments dave thanks alot this has given an allready great game a whole new world for me.as for cooks i just watched the speedrun of lips and they did not do half of what i did to finish it,so i get it now thanks again
<Dave> Hi Mark,
Rigidity is basically a rating of the number of different solutions. If a level can only be solved using a unique pattern of moves then it's rigidity is, by definition 10. Rigidity really has no bearing on the quality of a level and is not taken into account when levels are demoted.

Cooked means you have 'broken' the level. i.e. solved it in a totally different (and simpler) way to the intended solution. Minor shortcuts and improvements don't count as a cook. Some players seem to use the 'cook' function for comments, probably because they are unaware of ctrl+c.

The current speedrun of any level is downloadable only if you have already solved the level yourself. Go back into any level you have solved, hit B for bookmarks and then 'Download solutions'. Click the solution you want to see. Use T,O,P,U keys as normal to view it.

<mark> ps you say the speed run would ruin it . i was not aware that you could see it.also if anyone would be so kind what does the rigidy of a level mean and if a level is cooked. sorry if asking in wrong place dont know any other way.
<mark> (SPOILER) wow the n button. after the bots the bombs are numbered is that the order they go in . thanks for the hints but im still pulling my hair out .i thought i solved it a few times only to find out not quite .thanks again any hints really wellcome.
<Dave> (SPOILER) Hi Mark, PPS. Bots movements and the effect thereof are entirely predictable. You are the boss. If you haven't already sussed it: Hit the N key to find out which bot will move first.
<Dave> (SPOILER) I agree, they are fantastic levels. This one and Rouge-Like-Like are solvable in so many ways, but still difficult.

re: Radiant's point about the speedrun (because the point isn't very clear). The speedrun to Rouge-Like-Like is also a speedrun for this level but will give the game away and spoil Rouge-Like-Like if uploaded here.

I made that mistake with my first ever speedrun and regretted it ever since. Any subsequent occurences are deliberate .).

P.S. What resources do you really need? Spend them wisely.

<mm> The *Rouge-like*-series are - IMO - part of the best levels we ever had, & it certainly is such a lot of fun to solve them! Good luck and have fun, *mark*, and just try to stay patient!
<radiant> (SPOILER) Didn't add speedrun: 437 moves (old: 540).
Just so no one else is tempted to.

Also, in levels like this, it might help if you think about what things are *actually* preconditions to complete the level (e.g. "you have to make the bot run into the bomb before advancing out of room 1") and which things only look like they're impossible, and that requires going over all the available moves with a certain degree of rigor. There are multiple solution routes available in this level, so you just have to figure out a way to tweak your expectations into leading you to any one of them.
