Once you unlock the secret to the dilemma here is another worth a mod solution.
Took me a while to find.
Congrats to N7DOT on the original you don't know yet how good this level really is. |

<Jim> (SPOILER) I went into edit yesterday and found a way or two of doing it Mark, but my problem is getting the bots to cooperate. My last bot gets there too early and I can't delay it enough to get the timing right.
<mark> (SPOILER) Jim what do you call a deer with no eyes?
No idea..
What do you call a deer with no eyes no legs?
Still no idea..
There might be a deer in my latest speedrun. |

Brilliant level noname.
Totally different solution to yours. In your solution you make it look so easy and you got it so fast.
Hang in there Jim its not as bad as it first seems.
<Jim> (SPOILER) I have no idea how to do the 2nd part, noname strikes again. |

As requested by N7DOT. Did not bother with symmetry for the testing part. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) The change that will be made in "Perfectionist's Dilemma" is that both panels will also have to be *deactivated* at the exact same time in addition to simultaneous activation. I'm not sure if I can accomplish this, so if someone else beats me to finding that solution then they may upload the sequel.
<N7DOT> 'Synchrony' uploaded by N7DOT:
Get the bots onto those dots on the exact same move and win! The machinery may seem overly complex but that's going to be more important in the harder sequel, "Perfectionist's Dilemma".
(see spoilers before uploading any modifications) |

Nice one thanks Jim.
I was waiting for you to solve before posting this.A simpler ending to the original.
<Jim> (SPOILER) Nice speed run Mark, I ended up doing it the way N7DOT did. Its amazing to me that there were so many ways to do the first one.
<mark> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 211 moves (old: 275).
Nice one N7DOT .......
I think I may have been searching for the impossible for too long before I came with this.

<Jim> (SPOILER) Congrats on solving. It is my opinion that if you solved this different from anyone else and can force your solution, then its a a mod worth making.
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) ... I managed to solve this without moving the two farthest left green blocks, which were moved in both of your solutions. I don't know if it's worth making a modification - probably not. I'll give some time before doing anything to give response time.
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Finally solved it :D I had to completely change what I was trying to do. If the original path I was attempting is possible, then any level made forcing that solution would be one of the hardest levels ever. There are quite a few branches that reach towards that goal, but they all seem to be doomed to result in the same failures in the end. I would be very surprised if such is possible.
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) I know, I know... I'll try again, hopefully I can make some progress. |
