<Max> This one (hopefully) requires the original intended solution.

Jumps (Stephan's Variation) Sun 12 Jun 2005 22:01
<Max> This variation totally rips off Stephan's clever cook of the original "jumps", as well as his timing mechanism from "Timing Column". Thanks Stephan! ;)

Jumps Sun 12 Jun 2005 21:58
<Max> Moved to graveyard.
<Max> Getting rid of this version, thanks to Stephan's clever cook...

Jumps Sun 12 Jun 2005 21:50
<Stephan> (SPOILER) Max, you're welcome to make a mod. In looking at my solution, I think it's not optimum; I believe someone can shave at least two more moves off the speed run.

This was a difficult level to finish, even after I discovered the technique required. Nice job.
<Max> (SPOILER) Nice one, Stephan. Mind if I make a mod making your solution necessary? You can make one if you'd like.

Bigger Waste of Time Sun 12 Jun 2005 20:55

Jumps Sun 12 Jun 2005 20:45
<Stephan> (SPOILER) Added solution "Simpler Solution":
(Unlike the original solution, this one doesn't require crossing the pit so many times, and doesn't use the electric field.)

Modern Art Sun 12 Jun 2005 18:21
<Tom 7> Yeah, this is a good test case in that it is the family of smallest possible solvable levels, and also the family of tightest and most assuredly uncookable levels, and therefore also the easiest.
Maybe this would be a good level to use in order to detect (and discount) voters who don't know what they're doing -- anyone who doesn't vote this a 0 for difficulty and 10 for rigidity doesn't understand what these ratings mean. ;)

Jumps Sun 12 Jun 2005 18:18
<Tom 7> (SPOILER) This one seems simpler, so I don't mind. ;)

Bigger Waste of Time Sun 12 Jun 2005 17:24
<Doom> (SPOILER) I hope my solution was intentional because it's a damn cool one!
<Doom> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 175 moves (old: 178).
