<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Wait no, using a dalek would actually make it really easy...
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added solution "Original (Cleaner)":
Escape went and used my first (incredibly slow) solve instead of this one... so much redundant movement in trying to find a solution...
<N7DOT> 'Unscatter' uploaded by N7DOT:
I'm not sure how well this level will hold up, but there's not been many levels lately. I've gone for something that steps a little bit outside my comfort zone, with some bot buddies that are both helpful and annoying.
Initially it had a dalek as the top bot - I think that this level is probably impossible like that but feel free to prove me wrong with a mod, or find some other way harder solution and make a mod for that. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Interesting variety of solutions on this one. Mine's very slow and crashes the dalek on the top panel; and it is VERY conservative in arranging everything. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 290 moves (old: 299).
considerably different from the other uploaded solutions. thought of making a mod instead of this, but it doesnt require different enough handling of pieces to be worth it.
<N7DOT> (SPOILER) Added solution "carolyn's solution":
This solution (to-be former speedrun) is significantly different from the original solution and the speedrun I'm about to upload, so I'm uploading a non-speedrecord copy so that it won't disappear. |

<carolyn> (SPOILER) Fantastic mod N7, I must have tried this 10 different times the last 3 weeks until finally the light went on. I liked your accompanying anecdote too, this time I remember to tie my shoelaces so I wouldn't trip while escaping. |

<carolyn> (SPOILER) Nice level, I ended up doing it much like you did Mark, with a few variations and about a hundred less moves.
I was also trying to solve it like your brilliant shortcut MM, but I couldn't pull it off.
<mm> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 72 moves (old: 74).
I seem to have cooked this, but still think it's a great little level!
<mm> (SPOILER) Added speedrun: 74 moves (old: 369).

This should be a tricky, but great fun with so many nearly done its.
If my solution is the only solution great care with all the moving items will be needed. |

Dalek Timer - Take 2 |
Thu 23 Jul 2015 23:08 |
 |
<N7DOT> 'Dalek Timer - Take 2' uploaded by N7DOT:
As you are dragged into the electromechanically locked holding area for the second time, you know something your captors don't - there's a fault in the system, a fault which you successfully exploited the last time you were thrown in this chamber against your own will. (To think that if only you had tied your shoes the first time, you'd be free as a bird...)
The leader of the group has become furious with one of his henchmen for setting the password to unlock your cell to "abc123" - with a more secure release code placed on the lock, he seems certain that you'll be unable to escape this time. But you don't need to know the password to get out. Soon you'll be far, far away from this wretched place.
Once the men outside your cell have left to plan their next scheme, you tie your shoelaces and set yourself to the task at hand.
And that's when you realize in horror that your escape plan has garnered more attention than you had thought. |

<N7DOT> (SPOILER) looks like it's been cooked, alright. mark's solution does not use one of the items available.
not that that means it's any easier, though. |
