Hah... I'd love to release a Mac version, but the Sourceforge compile farm is still down (http://sourceforge.net/docs/A05/en/) and I don't really have any way to get them to fix it, since it's a free service.

  Wow, already some answers (-:

"d" does not do anything.

I guess Tom doesn't really like Mac users -> John, we should fight aganist this discrimination! But BTW: I agree about the quality of this level. It reminded me on Rouge-Like-Like - which still seems impossible to me after all these months, with or without "d"...

Ah, yes. Check the changelog on the site. It's a fairly new feature.

The mac version is several months of updates behind, as can be seen on the downloads page. It works in Windows and supposedly in Linux too.

By the way, this is still one of my favorite Escape levels ever.

I'm trying "d" and nothing is happening. Is this a Windows-only command? I'm running Escape on Mac OS X.

Try "d" in-game. It doesn't show the lines if the panels are under objects or in the alternate dimension, but it's still very helpful.

Heh, Tom should really include all existing commands in the readme or something :)

"The key that shows all panel destinations"??? Did I miss something? I finally had solved this by running it in Editor on the right sight of the screen (just to peek) and playing on the left...

The level is great - but, and I totally agree with you, Doom: only once you can figure out the panel destinations. Tom, you suggested to run a copy of Escape for editing (to avoid Mac-crashes), so in fact this was your idea, I guess all alone I would never had thought about giving myself such hints.

I never wanted to even attempt this level before, but now that I remembered the key that shows all panel destinations, this was actually doable.

Doable, and much better than it looks at first.

  This level is thoroughly awesome.

Very good!! Congratulations Joshua! I recommend it!

1878 And then there were Three... Max (61) Wed 13 Apr 2005 14:27 SPOILER
Added speedrun: 1156 moves (old: 1359).
Might as well condense it a little if I'm gonna have the speed record!

1877 And then there were Three... Max (61) Wed 13 Apr 2005 14:12 SPOILER
Added speedrun: 1359 moves (old: 1449).
Wow, this is a great level! I love the ending. It's true that the hidden information of the panels is a slight weakness, but this is a very strong level nonetheless. Nice work!

Three days and far too many hours wasted, I finally got it. You really do have a knack for turning a group of smaller problems into one big problem, bravo :)

You're quite right about everything except for this level's impossibility.

1869 And then there were Three... Max (61) Wed 13 Apr 2005 00:42 SPOILER
Whoa... The first two puzzles in this one are very easy and the last one seems provably impossible!

To access the two grey steel in the bottom right so as to push them into the electricity and get rid of them, you have to activate three panels, each corresponding to a space on one of the three main vertical columns of electricity. None of the green panels (except maybe for one in the lower square that seems only accessible by the red steel) activate one of these spaces (except for one adjacent to another electricity making the path impassible). I must be missing some crucial detail!

Nice ending, Joshua. Clever.

Very sneaky. The only thing dragging this down is the hidden information from the panels at the bottom left, which is a bit unfortunate. But the 'crux' is superb.
