I did it! KWM, thanks a lot for encouraging me to keep on going. This is the smallest and most evil level ever (;

You're right, there are no "black holes", I've realized that as well, opening the level in "editor" helped me to see the destination of each panel. (Mac!) Creating a level to better understand these "mechanisms" seems to be a good way to help to understand them - I'll keep on trying, thank's a lot for all your hints!

There are no self-referential (black hole) panels, but approching from the wrong/right direction can make it look that way, sort of. Here's a hint: 1,11,15,17. You did number the buttons, right? I make Dimensional Rip-Off to help me understand the logic of these levels, it's much longer and more systematic.

Sorry, I know what binary code means - but I don't understand how it could help to solve this level? There are panels that do not work in a stricly logic way - I guess. And that's just very confusing.

I have absolutely no idea what a binary code could be! All I know is that there are some "tricky" panels which behave like black holes - are these the excepions? I'll find out how far I can get with only 2 or 3 blocks. (There is that other level, Dimensional Rip-Off...)

Being familiar with binary code also came in handy. Although, there are some exeptions in this puzzle. You may want to see how far you can get by using only 2 blocks, then only 3, etc.

Thanks KWM, I can get to panel 13, but that's it.

I found it helpfull to lable the order of the buttons. I just used a fine felt pen to mark on the computer screen.

WTH...??? I just can't unterstand what's going on? I can push stuff around - but sooner or later, everything will disappear... |

> A 18th panel could be added two squares above the 17th. Yeah, true. I didn't want to add any more cheat-panels than already existed, though. Anyway, this was a fun original concept, Doom. |

Phew! Thanks, noname - good job. That certainly is not the hardest level ever, but I'm claiming the title for longest unsolved level, at 98 days. Who dare challenge me? I guess maybe I should submit some new levels, now that mine are all finished. Maybe over vacation I will. |

To Brian: A 18th panel can be added two squares above the 17th panel... Anyway, it seems that the possibility to go beyond 15 seems to lie in the fact that some of the panels are too close to each other, like the relation of the 3rd and 4th panels. I wonder if it's possible to go beyond 15 if adjacent panels are distant enough. Of course, it's not difficult to show that with n blocks, we can have 2^^n - 1 panels. |
