I certainly would agree it's for the brain. (That's why my favorite kind of level is about outsmarting the player, not about bot shoving or guessing--neither one is very smart.) On the other hand, I think making levels is a big part of Escape, and it certainly uses the level creator's brain to try to make a level meeting a certain theme or criterion. Of course it's best when that level can also be fun for people to play, but if it's just a demonstration of something, that can be interesting too. (Maybe we ought to have a collection for non-levels that are primarily curiosities?) I think level contests like these are a nice way of maintaining Escape's emphasis on puzzle composition. | ||||

Now this is more like it!,So far I Haven't solved it.Tom VII would agree this game is for the brain. The 4X4 levels are one to three button games and leave very little reasoning to be done, except for the designer with the mental help of their computer. Those are good levels and quick.Just not much play in them. 'Small 19' uploaded by Kacper: HA! If both of the middle blocks were gold blocks,The level will be too easy.I will probably get an internet on Tuesday or Wednesday.I might even get it later. But right now it's great. Rouge-Like-Me is way easier than Rouge-Like.By the way,On Rouge-Like and Rouge-Like-Like,everything is simple but the end.I'll never pass it! Well, the series continues. P.S. I'd also like more levels. P.P.S. ejg and gary, where are your levels?????????????You usually send a bunch of them! Kacper Leszczynski |
