Added speedrun: 458 moves (old: 462). Did someone's computer get the flu? (Or was some leeway given intentionally?) |

'Optimization (462)' uploaded by John Lewis: I uploaded this level (an adaptation of pieguy's computer-generated Chip's Challenge level of the same name) a while back before Tom invented the "timer" mechanism that can be created using the editor. I deleted it because it generated some complaints, mainly due to the nature of the timing mechanism - there was no way that the player could know how he was doing. Now, we've seen many more levels with the "move limit" integrated into the title of the level, so I hope this level will be a bit more acceptable this time around. I suppose the fun of it is that the puzzle is so incredibly easy, but finding the fastest solution ends up being the challenge. Good practice for block-pushing skills! Have fun! |
